Trust and evidence boundaries

Fluent prose does not upgrade evidence.

Omnara keeps source assertions, observations, deterministic results, inference, synthesis, speculation, recommendations, and human decisions distinct.

Privacy and storage

Campaign vaults are ordinary local files at the path the user or host chooses. They may contain sensitive inquiries, URLs, excerpts, notes, names, inferences, and decisions. Omnara does not encrypt, synchronize, back up, expire, redact, or erase them. Review every ledger and note before sharing or committing a campaign.

Network behavior

The bundled Python helpers make no network requests. They create, read, validate, assemble, and audit local files. Research performed by an agent may use a host, model provider, browser, search service, API, repository, or authenticated session when authorized; those systems may retain data under their own policies.

Citation boundaries

Structural audit

Checks whether markers, source IDs, notes, claim records, and hashes resolve.

Semantic audit

Checks whether the cited source supports this exact claim, scope, number, date, and causal language.

Known limitations

Omnara cannot guarantee truth, exhaustive coverage, source access, fixed source or page counts, universal host activation, research quality from helper output, or legal and professional correctness. Access limits can bias the corpus; durable memory depends on retained files; paid or authenticated routes require separate authority.

Provenance and rights

The standalone source descends from the public Nova + MIND 1.0.0 contest snapshot linked in the repository README. The code and maintained documentation use the MIT License. Retrieved sources retain their own copyright, license, terms, privacy, and access controls.
